Welcome to Active Khata. By downloading, accessing, or using Active Khata, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.

1. Description of Service

Active Khata is a business management and accounting software solution designed to help enterprises track ledgers, transactions, invoices, inventory, expenses, staff attendance, and payroll. The app provides both offline local storage and optional cloud sync and Google Drive backups.

2. User Accounts & Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breaches.

3. Cloud Backup and Third-Party Services

Active Khata allows users to connect their personal Google Drive account to store backup files. By using this integration:

• You authorize Active Khata to create and manage the application's dedicated backup folder and JSON snapshot files.
• You acknowledge that your relationship with Google is governed by Google's respective Terms of Service and Privacy Policies.
• Active Khata is not responsible for data loss resulting from third-party storage quota limits, account suspensions, or network failures on the provider's end.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of Active Khata.
• Use the service for fraudulent financial bookkeeping or unlawful commercial activities.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or security of our sync infrastructure.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

Active Khata is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive for continuous accuracy and reliability, we do not warrant that the service will be entirely error-free or uninterrupted. You are encouraged to regularly export local backup files.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Active Khata and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the application.
